Seeking artist development?

For the first time ever, Overgrown are inviting 5 emerging artists to receive 5 months of free artist development support, which is proudly supported by Arts Council England. 

Who can apply?

  • You must be a Midlands-based artist or band

  • You should be actively creating, performing and releasing music

We are particularly interested in supporting those from underrepresented or lower socio-economic backgrounds.

What will you get?

The offer takes place March-July 2026 during which time, you can access…

  • A weekend writing camp in the Derbyshire countryside

  • Engineered studio sessions to refine your sound

  • 1-1 coaching tailored to your ambitions

  • Support devising a release strategy

  • Support mapping out a clear business structure

  • Assistance creating a marketing plan

  • A content creation day

  • Guidance developing a solid action plan

The deadline: Apply by Wednesday 25th February 2026.

Notification: You will be contacted via email before March 8th.

Midlands means; Leicestershire, Rutland, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Birmingham, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Shropshire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

Key dates: The writing camp is March 27th-30th. All other activity is flexible throughout March-July 2026.
